MEX-PATRIOT - 00.1 - Why do I write Mex-Patriot

Of course, they volunteer. When they go on break for Christmas, New Years, Easter, Summer, or Jose's birthday, the weather site can remain untended for days (this example shows it to be 20 days obsolete). They often report in Spanish only. I went here often and could soon translate a weather report by eye.
A more reliable source might be The Weather Channel. Under no circumstances should you rely on weather reports provided by real estate companies, fishing and hunting guides, nor any other promoters.

The U.S. State Department slams Mexican travel. I would too, if I had to send in the Marines. or President Clinton, to save  evangelists from President I'm a Dinner Jacket.
I used to have the 'Baja Sun' (as well as various newsletters) mailed to my home in the U.S. Gringo newspapers don't usually do well. They start off as an innocent rag, promoting the wonders of travelling and retiring in Mexico. Sooner or later, they stumble on a 'story.' They give their hands to investigative reporting. And they are shut down--by the government, the drug cartels, and most often by the regional promoters.

It's not my job to tell you who you can trust. I'm too old and infirm to carry a banner. I just want to impress on you the wisdom of doing your own research. As an old fart in the White House once said, "Trust, but verify"!

Mexico is a great place to live, just watch where you step.
